Marcell is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Christina Runnels LPC-S, LCDC, PMH-C.  Marcell received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her master’s degree in Christian Counseling from Houston Baptist University. She incorporates a person-centered approach in every session in which she provides empathy, respect, and positive regard to every client and works to create a nonjudgmental and safe space for her clients. She has a passion for working with children, adults, couples, and families to address a wide array of emotional and behavioral concerns.

Marcell recognizes the courage that it takes for each person to reach out, ask for help, and make positive fulfilling changes.  Marcell is greatly honored to help people discover their power in overcoming personal struggles and achieving their goals.  She enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, taking road trip and visiting national parks.
