Kerry's passion is bringing hope and healing to those who feel like life has given them the impossible. He assist his clients, which include children, adults, and families, to find healthy perceptions of themselves, draw power from their pain and strengthen their relationships, so, they can be reassured of their own courage.
His educational background includes a Master of Arts in Counseling from Webster University, St Louis MO, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology, from Park University in Parkville, MO. In addition, he has attended training at Loyola Marymount University in Resiliency, Loyola University Baltimore Maryland, in PTSD/Trauma. Additionally, he proudly served this nation for 23 years as a Non-commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force. In his book, The Road Less Traveled, M. Scott Peck’s first sentence reads, “Life is difficult.” He beliefs we all can testify to this truth. Our lives are a chronology of our resilience! However, we often discount, even, dismiss, our own heroism, when we’ve faced life difficulties. Nevertheless, when we experience trauma…life’s stressors, it is not uncommon for things to unravel. He is certain that no single approach is the “right” one for every individual, so, he has been trained in a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Reality Therapy, Resiliency, PTSD, and Person-Centered Therapy. He looks forward to working with you on your life’s journey. |
