She works with individuals, couples, families, and sometimes conducts therapy groups. Karen is a Person-Centered Counselor who sees clients of all ages, starting with little ones around 3 years old. She has worked with clients on the Autism Spectrum, and is trained in EMDR to help clients suffering from PTSD, sexual abuse, and grief. She also has experience in affirmative therapy with transgender and gender non-conforming individuals, and those with issues regarding their sexual-orientation. Karen’s goal is to strive to create an atmosphere of trust and acceptance so that her clients can explore and define present problems, develop future goals for an improved life, and work in a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals.
