Gladys Hollis, MEd, LPC-Intern is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern who is under the supervision of Christina Runnels, MA, LPC-S, LCDC. Gladys's goal is to treat the root of the problem and not the symptoms as healing begins from within. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Educational Counseling. As a former educator she takes her expertise working with individuals based on their individual needs.
Gladys works with a variety of issues from anxiety, depression, anger management, personal growth, social skills, conflict resolution, behavior modification, grief, self-harm, suicidal ideation and emotional disturbance in children, adolescents and adults. Gladys is also a Middle School Counselor that seeks to understand the overall being, awareness and who they are becoming. She is an eclectic Counselor that implements Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Rational Behavior Therapy, Solution focused Therapy and Reality Therapy.
She finds fulfillment in helping others triumph over troubles and believes that healing happens within the context of relationships. She strives to create a warm, non-judgmental environment that encourages clients to gain awareness of themselves. She is passionate about meeting people where they are and believes that all people have it within themselves the capacity for growth, change and perseverance
