Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern
Dana Benoist is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern under the supervision of Christina Runnels, MA, LPC-S, LCDC. She received her Bachelor’s in Arts in early education from the University of Houston and a Masters in School Counseling at Houston Baptist University. She is a life-long learner always looking for ways to grow and better support her clients.
She enjoys individual and group settings to support people with anxiety, depression, anger management, goal setting, social skills, grief or trauma, and suicidal ideation. She uses an integrative approach to therapy with an emphasis on person-centered, cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused methods in order to help clients reach their own happiness. Her goal is to create a warm, inviting atmosphere that is built on trust and acceptance that allows clients to open up and feel safe to explore their present concerns, empower them from within and to support the development of future goals.
Family is at the heart of Dana. You will most likely find her enjoying time with her family, playing outside with their dogs or baking in the kitchen.
