Christina Okechukwu, M.A., LPC-A, is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate currently under the supervision of Christina Runnels, MA, LPC-S, LCDC, PMH-C. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Stephen F. Austin State University. 

Christina works with a variety of issues pertaining to anger management, anxiety, behavior modification, conflict resolution, decision-making and depression in children, adolescents, couples and adults. She is primarily a cognitive-behavior and person-centered therapist who delights in using her training, skills, and compassionate heart to assist her clients achieving their goals. While helping and teaching her clients to identify, challenge and reframe negative/irrational thoughts, she also creates a warm and non-judgmental atmosphere for clients to feel safe in expressing themselves. In addition, Christina offers a faith-based/Christian outlook for clients that are interested.

In her free time, Christina loves to compose songs and spend time with family and friends.​
