Brianna, MA, LPC-Associate is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate who is under the supervision of Christina Runnels, MA, LPC-S. Brianna received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Houston and her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Letourneau University. Brianna has experience working in a domestic violence shelter and psychiatric hospitals with all populations. Her experience focuses on children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with issues such as anxiety, identity, depression, trauma, domestic violence, and family dynamics. Brianna is knowledgeable in play therapy for children and uses therapeutic approaches stemming from person-centered and solution-focused therapy techniques.
Brianna is passionate about creating a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients that allows them to feel safe and accepted. Her goal is to create a nonjudgmental space where the client can grow and reach their fullest potential. Brianna strives to be an active listener that collaborates with the client to reflect and recognize the deeper connections between their emotions and life experiences.
On her off days Brianna enjoys listening to music, doing ballet, creating art, and spending time with friends and family.
