Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I know if my kid is a good fit?
Your child may be a good fit if they can benefit from learning ways to interact with others, develop better self-esteem, having a more robust vocabulary of feelings words and how to express themselves and learning mindfulness skills. This camp is not a good fit for kiddos that are not yet potty trained, have elopement issues or show physical aggression towards others.
2. Is this therapy
No. This camp is an opportunity for kiddos to learn important life skills in a fun and engaging way!
3. How will my children learn the skills?
Our trained facilitators teach kiddos through play and activities, to include art, drama and other experiential learning opportunities.
4. What are my options to pay for Camp?
The fee for camp is $250 for the entire week. $125 is due at the time of registration. We understand that things happen and plans change. If you're unable to attend camp you can request a full refund up to 1 week before the first day of camp. No refunds are available after that time. The remaining balance is collected one week prior to the start date of camp.
5. What are the age groups for Camp?
Elementary and middle school age children are invited to attend camp! Campers will be broken down by ages and schools (elementary/middle schooler). If your child is chronologically older but developmentally falls within this age range they may still be a good fit and we'd love to have them.
6. If I have more than 1 child do they have to be in the same group?
No, not necessarily. Sometimes siblings do better separately and we are happy to accommodate that.
