Mothering Tribe - "It takes a Village to Raise a Baby"
Are you a new mother? Do you have questions about how quickly your baby should be meeting milestones, eating food, or how to help baby relax? This group is for mothers with baby's ages 0 to 1 year. Over 6 weeks we will cover topics including PostPartum Depression, understanding variables in baby's developmental milestones, relaxation and self-care techniques for you and baby, attachments patterns and bonding behaviors, and peaceful parenting techniques, as well as other items. We understand how lonely new motherhood can feel and believe that support and connection to other mother's in this critical time is key. Mother's should bring their baby's and come ready to learn, grow, and connect with others in this special stage of life.
This group is facilitated by Christina Runnels, MA, LPCS, LCDC. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and a mother of two boys. Christina has doctoral level training in infant mental health and recognizes the importance of this unique time. She enjoys working with children, youth, and parents around attachment, parenting support, as well as trauma. Contact her today at 832-914-9566 to find out if this group is for you.
